Day 2 Recap - Six Flags

Ok so yesterday I was at Six Flags Great Adventure with the lovely wife, and 3 kids. Now I did speak about this being a challenge in my last blog and YES IT WAS A CHALLENGE! In the morning I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast so we all stopped at the WAWA store next to six flags and picked up some grub. Luckily they had a good variety there so I got myself a simple garden salad, some celery sticks, and carrot sticks. I got a bottle of yogurt just to add some dairy to my diet for the day and throw some carbs in me for energy. So now we move on to Six Flags. Now I always wondered how people could get so fat in America and why obesity is such a huge problem. Yesterday for my own two eyes I finally saw what the problem was. Let me give you a run-down of what exactly Six Flags has to offer...

  • Pizza
  • Candy
  • Hot Dogs
  • Burgers
  • Nachos
  • Mexican Food
  • Chinese Food
  • Fried Chicken
  • Fried Fish
  • Coca Cola brand soda
  • Churros
  • Funnel Cakes
  • French Fries
  • Ice Cream
  • Cheesecake
  • A Deli
  • and finally...A salad
But their salad isn't what you think. This isn't something you would get at cheesecake factory or any other high end restaurant. You'd think being a salad it would have some nutrition to it. Guess again, the most useless salad I've ever had. Iceberg Lettuce, cucumbers, and shreds of carrots topped with some fried chicken. Yes I know, raw food diet, but at this point I was feeling very weak and dizzy. My head felt like it was squeezing against my brain and I was about to go insane so I broke the raw diet for a bit and had the chicken. I did also have some Diet Soda which made me feel like crap. So after a few sips I stopped drinking the soda and filled it up with some water. The water tasted like total crap but I drank it anyways. And that was my last meal for the day. The rest of the day consisted of sipping on water and walking around the park. I def felt exhausted by the end of the day which I guess is a good sign because I am assuming I walked a good 10-15 miles around the park.

And if you're still interested...Here are all the rides I went on...
  • Dare Devil Dive (The giant swing 3 people are attached to)
  • Superman Ultimate Flight
  • EL Toro
  • Medusa
  • Nitro
  • Batman the Ride
  • Skull Mountain
  • Houdini's House
  • Parachute Drop
  • Space Shuttle
  • and KINGDA KA...I recommend you do this at night around 9:30pm...SICK VIEW!
Anyways, I am now going to head out for lunch. I shall return to report some more!
